From Green Day’s recent album Saviors, I first heard it while I had my then not even 1-month old son lying on my chest. I had no idea it was coming up - I didn’t look at the track listing before putting the album on - and was beside myself trying to contain my emotions. That’s one of the best moments of my life. I haven’t performed this in front of people yet, so for the first time ever, here I am singing Father to a Son by Green Day.
