Guess who's still on the Genshin Impact train? Yours truly, hehe! This time one of the newest characters has captured my braincell.

So I've realized there are many many recreations of the Character Tales themes, like Klee's, Zhongli's, and Childe's. But surprisingly enough, no one's taken the time really to recreate the music for Albedo's Character Tale "Still Life and Creation" save for maybe one person really. It's mostly been piano arrangements! So what did I do? I tasked myself to make this recreation! Funny story, this was all done in one day save for like some final volume and dynamic adjustments on day two! So I've beaten my own record! I had a lot of fun editing this video, it took 6 layers for all the effects and the text and the background, and most of this was greenscreen stuff! It ties with my Splatoon 2 video for the video with the most layers! My poor laptop suffered for this once more XD. You can also tell this turned out to be more of an arrangement than a recreation, as I took some liberties with the song and sound. It's not a perfect recreation, but it's pretty darn close I'd say!

Surprisingly enough, it was the other instruments that were difficult to figure out. I knew there was piano and base in this song, but I couldn't figure out what the main melody instrument was in the beginning. Turns out it was a Reed organ! Some messing with dynamics allowed me to get that fade in fade out sound. The main instruments used for this arrangement were Piano, Reed Organ, Flute, Bass, Guitar, a Warm pad that sounds like strings, and harp! Oh, and some sleigh bells! Soundfonts used were Musescore, Chataeu Piano, and Arachno Soundfont! If some of the dynamics and transitions are a little strange, unfortunately no soundfont outside of Musescore's default ones like crescendos or decrescendos, so I had to work with what I could!

Sup description peeps! I got audio recorded for a walkthrough of my Calling arrangement that I hope to get done very very soon! I might save that for March, or get to re-recording that Nobodies video I was supposed to release AGES ago but uh never did. Oops! We shall see. In the meantime, enjoy the video, and keep an eye out for whatever I put out next!
