A Beautiful Day at the Magnolia Silos | Waco Day Trip + Dr. Pepper Museum

Waco, Texas is a beautiful small town that receives many visitors every year, many of which visit for the sole purpose of seeing the Silos.

The Silos are a landmark in Waco, that has now been built up to have many small shops and places to eat around them due to the work of Joanna Gaines.

Understandably, our first stop in Waco had to be at the Silos to see all things Magnolia. If you're not familiar with Magnolia, it is the brainchild of Chip and Joanna Gaines from HGTV's "Fixer Upper." This home decor and lifestyle brand has become a must-visit destination for fans of the show and design enthusiasts alike. In our video, we take you on a tour of the Magnolia Market, where you can shop for unique home goods, grab a delicious treat at the Silos Baking Co., and enjoy the beautifully landscaped grounds. In addition to this, they even have their own coffee shop and baseball field on the grounds. There's plenty of fun to have for the whole family.

Next, we visit the Dr. Pepper Museum, a tribute to the beloved soft drink that was invented in Waco in 1885. The museum showcases the history of Dr. Pepper, including vintage advertisements, bottling equipment, and even a soda fountain where you can sample the original formula. It's a fascinating look into one of America's most iconic brands.

Waco has so much more to offer than just these two attractions, but that's all we could fit in during our visit.

We also checked out a bakery less than a 10-minute drive from Waco called Collin Street Bakery to try their famous fruitcake. These fruitcakes have always been best sellers nationwide and around the world, but have gained recent notoriety from the documentary named "Fruitcake Fraud".

We had a blast visiting Waco and enjoyed all the beautiful spring scenery. We hope you did too!
