We have been feeling stagnant, stuck and needed a change up from the A9 Anchorage. So when Connor gets some good news about our donkey dick predicament. And we finally get that whisker pole connected to the mast. Things feel like they are looking up and inching closer to departure.

We are feeling rusty. We haven't sailed in so long! And with our whisker pole stowed up, it was time to dust off the rust. Even though it seems like we are going backwards, leaving San Diego and heading north. There is good reasoning behind this move. Our new sail is going to get delivered, and we wanted a good excuse to sail with it, before stowing it away for when we cross the pacific.

As we make our way back north, I have been begging Connor to surf Point Loma. This is only accessible to a surfer by boat and here we are on our own! This is the time! So before heading to Mission Bay, let's jump in the ocean and ride some waves!! Not just a typical day surfing, I caught the wave of my life, getting towed in by a jetskier! Watch the wave of my life!!

Along the sail to Mission Bay, of course we make mistakes. But will my mistakes be detrimental to Alivo's motor? I hope not.

Then it's time to celebrate. The new sail has arrived and everything seems like it's coming together!! Woohooo!!
