The 1970 Mazda RX-500, Numaji Transport Museum (Hiroshima), Classic L10A Cosmo Racer

Описание к видео The 1970 Mazda RX-500, Numaji Transport Museum (Hiroshima), Classic L10A Cosmo Racer

I took a road trip to Hiroshima (plus Okayama, Fukuyama) and saw the iconic mid rotary-engined RX-500 concept car that was first made public at the 17th Tokyo Motor Show in 1970. It is a sports car of beautiful lines and proportions, and features a powerful 10a rotary engine. Unusually, the doors open in a forward flipping motion, which are known as butterfly doors. Also in this video, a curious series 1 Cosmo (L10A) which raced at the 84 Hours of Nürburgring in 1968 (oh, but it's a replica.)

Beyond that, this video shows clips from the many places I visited in Japan's Chugoku region this last week. And, expect many more car spotting adventures to follow.
