How to calibrate a hoverboard (Swagway X1) Hoverboard calibration instructional video

Today I show you how to calibrate a hoverboard.

The example I used was a friend's daughters Pink Swagway X1. However, the instructions should work with a Swagtron, Razor, and many of the generics as well.

Essentially I read the directions from my Swagway X1 user's manual. My manual is from 2015 so it has not been updated. You should be able to find your specific owners manual at the website of the manufacturer. If you bought a Chinese knock off or generic, you may not have a website or owners manual BUt this video SHOULD help you!

Just turn the unit off then:

1) Push in the power button and hold it for 3-5 seconds. You should get a confirmation beep and maybe some flashing lights

2)level the unit. Make SURE the unit is parallel to the ground AND that both platforms are perfectly aligned. You can do this by eye but levels are recommended.

3) Turn the unit off (AFTER it is perfectly plane and aligned). Be careful when pushing the power button as it is VERY easy to "rock" it when you are pushing the button (throwing off your calibration).

4) Unit is calibrated
