Skagway Alaska | 2023 | Best of Skagway Excursion

It’s time for our next stop in Alaska: Skagway!

After getting off the ship with our excursion group, we took a shuttle over to Liarsville Gold Rush Trail Camp where we enjoyed a salmon bake and saw a show about journalism during the gold rush. We then headed back into town to visit the Red Onion Saloon - what used to be one of the finest brothels of that era - where we learned about the history and toasted with champagne.

We then took a scenic ride into Canada where we got on the White Pass & Yukon Route Railway - aka the scenic railway of the world - where we had an amazing train ride back into Skagway. The views were breathtaking! After the excursion ended, we walked around port briefing and grabbed some beers and a snack from Skagway Brewing Company before getting back on the ship.
