Houston Person's "Pain" with Grant Green on guitar. Features footage from "The Grant Green Story." In 1979, Grant played his final gig at the Lighthouse, a Hermosa Beach, CA, nightclub. He drove cross-country to New York and had a fatal heart attack upon his arrival in Harlem. He was 43. Special thanks to Armen Boladian and Detroit's Bridgeport Music for permitting us to use this music in this independent film.
