Used when we no longer have something or we can’t find it, it can be used to refer to things, people or situations.
For example:

🔑🔑 Perdí mis llaves, ¿las has visto? / I lost my keys, have you seen them?

⚽️⚽️ Mi equipo favorito perdió por un gol. / My favorite team lost by one goal.

🪦🪦 Andrea perdió a su abuelo el año pasado. / Andrea lost her grandpa last year.

⏳⌛️ ¡No pierdas el tiempo! / Don’t waste your time!

🎬🎬 Esa película me hizo perder la paciencia. / That movie made me lose my patience.

Used when the sense of location is lost.
