Turn your CRB Pro G2 Power Wrapper into a spooling station!

We’ve all battled line twist on spinning reels since their creation. The inherently twist line due to the directional change of the line as you reel it onto the spool. When you spool up fresh line by reeling it onto a spinning reel, you introduce twist the first time the line touches the spool. If you’re like me, you’ve taken your rod to a local retailer with a spooling station and had them spool the line with their machine, comes straight off a bulk spool and straight onto the spool for your reel. With the G2 power wrapper, the motor spins opposite of the direction you need for a spinning reel spool, so you cross an o-ring over itself and you can get the chuck to spin the opposite direction. The first o-ring I ordered was the wrong size, and the second one I ordered was slightly loose fitting but it works great. The 5 1/4” o-ring I got from Amazon is linked below. I used the large pulley for the wrapping motor and the small pulley for the lathe headstock.
