📚 What is ASMR? :

ASMR is a neologism that stands for: Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. ASMR refers to a static-like feeling of well-being combined with a tingling sensation in the scalp and down the back of the neck, as experienced by some people in response to a specific gentle stimulus, often a particular sound.

ASMR is usually precipitated by stimuli referred to as 'triggers'. ASMR triggers, which are most commonly auditory and visual, may be encountered through the interpersonal interactions of daily life. ASMR is often triggered by exposure to specific audio and video.

Stimuli that can trigger ASMR may include:

✔ Listening to a softly spoken or whispering voice
✔ Listening to quiet, repetitive sounds
✔ Receiving personal attention
✔ Listening to tapping, typically nails onto surfaces such as plastic, wood, paper, metal, etc.
✔ Hand movements
✔ Listening to "crinkly" items such as paper, clothes, and substances such as styrofoam
✔ Listening to mouth sounds, e.g. quiet clicking of the tongue or the mouth sound "tsk"

What's ASMR for me?

I have enjoyed for a long time other people's content but I have finally decided to create my own channel. I try to make the ASMR content that I would like to see and listen to. The kind of ASMR videos that I'm planning to focus on, with my Blue Yeti by my side, are: reading interesting subjects of any kind, brushing triggers and writing sound triggers. I have a low budget but I have always wanted to focus on audio quality and interesting subjetcs rather than roleplays and gimmicks or toys.
