What does finding your voice as an artist look like? For Yimeeka, it's been a love-hate relationship, but one she's still actively exploring and coming to terms with. Yimeeka is a 22-year old Nigerian-born artist and producer based in Toronto, Canada. Throughout this episode, we learn about the talented artist, her journey into music and how she only learned how to produce 2 years ago - during the pandemic!

We also get to learn about how her debut EP, 'Alter Ego', came together: from the project's track-list to her choice of features.

This artist discovery series is aimed at exploring the journeys of up-and-coming African artists; giving them a platform to share their music and a chance for us to get up-close and personal with them.
