Flaxseed gel is fantastic in natural soap making and natural hair product that can add definition, hold, and shine to your curls. It's also vegan, cruelty-free, and incredibly affordable to make yourself! Here's a simple recipe:

Ingredients:

¼ cup whole flaxseeds
2 cups water

Instructions:
Combine the flaxseeds and water in a saucepan.

Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until the liquid thickens and becomes gel-like.

Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Strain the gel through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth

Store the gel in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

Tips:
For a thicker gel, simmer for a longer time.
For a thinner gel, add more water after straining.

Green tea and jasmine tea both offer a wealth of benefits when incorporated into cold process soap. Overall, incorporating green tea and jasmine tea into your cold process soap can create a bar that is not only gentle and effective for your skin but also provides a luxurious and spa-like experience

The shea tree, also known as Vitellaria paradoxa, is the source of shea butter. It's a slow-growing tree that can live for centuries and produce nuts for up to 200 years. The nuts are about the size of almonds and contain two kernels, which are where shea butter comes from. Shea butter has been used for centuries by people in Africa for its many health and beauty benefits. It is a natural moisturizer, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant. Shea butter is also used in cooking and soap making.

Today, shea butter is a popular ingredient in cosmetics and hair care products around the world. It is a valuable source of income for many people in Africa, especially women who traditionally harvest and process the nuts.
