They are the Santa Clara! The Vanguard are seven-time Drum Corps International World Champions, including the 2018 title and the Vanguard Cadets are six-time Open Class World Champions.

The Vanguard represents the Vanguard Music and Performing Arts organization which is one of the most renown music educational organizations in the country. Vanguard features a World Class and Open Class Drum & Bugle Corps, along with other concert performance groups.
