Troy really went above and beyond on this one. Watch how he hand builds a ceramic tray with handles:

After rolling out a slab of clay, Troy rolls out a daisy pattern on the clay (not shown in video). Then he places a square GR Pottery Form on the clay slab and flips it by placing another board on top. After molding it appropriately to the form he removes the excess clay. Then he prepares to attach the foot by scoring both the bottom of the bowl the foot and uses slip to adhere them together. After the tray has gone leather hard, he cuts out the crescent from the sides of the tray where the handles will go. Then he scores and slips both the handle and where it will attach on the top of the tray. For additional strength and design, he adds a small clay band over the handle and attaches little daisies.
