Mumbai, 13th Sep 2025: Internationally acclaimed cake artist Prachi Dhabal Deb, who has earned three world records from the World Book of Records, London, graced the prestigious Indian Cake Awards (ICA) as Head Judge and Advisory Board Member. The grand event, held at Flags Banquet Hall, Lokhandwala, Andheri West, Mumbai, is India’s pioneering platform dedicated to celebrating talent and excellence in the cake and confectionery industry.

Through her intricate cake artistry, Prachi is actively promoting Maharashtra’s rich culture. She blends culinary art with storytelling, creating edible masterpieces that embody motifs, colors, and narratives resonating with the state’s heritage. By doing so, she not only showcases mastery in baking and decoration but also pays tribute to regional traditions.

At ICA 2025, as Head Jury, she guided emerging artists, set high creative benchmarks, and encouraged cultural expression through food art. With every creation, Prachi continues to prove how food, art, and heritage can beautifully intersect, making her a vital force in preserving and celebrating Maharashtrian identity through her craft.

A globally renowned expert in Royal Icing Art, Prachi is among the leading artists in the world in this discipline. She is also the creator of the vegan version of royal icing. Over the years, she has received numerous awards and honors, including recognition by the Australian High Commission as India’s Ambassador and Head Judge for the International Cake Show, Australia. In 2024, she was honored in London by British MP Bob Blackman for her contribution to Royal Icing Art, and during India Week 2024, she was felicitated at Oxford University and the UK Parliament. She has also been recognized by Indian Union Ministers (2022) and the Governor of Maharashtra (2021).

Founder of Cake Décor India – Royal Icing Art, Prachi set a world record by creating the tallest vegetarian royal icing hand-piped structure measuring 6 feet 4 inches and weighing over 100 kilograms.

Her journey reflects unmatched creativity and dedication. Prachi’s finesse in piping and structural artistry has earned her pride of place in the World Book of Records, London Gold Edition (2022). Working with royal icing is considered a delicate and challenging art form that demands immense patience and skill—factors that make Prachi’s global recognition even more significant.

She has been honored with the Cake Masters Royal Icing Award (2019, Birmingham), and was also nominated in 2017 and 2018 for the same. In July 2020, she was felicitated by Maharashtra Governor Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari at the India Leadership Awards. She was named one of Modern India’s Game Changers by Forbes (March 2020) and featured in the ET Newsmakers list by The Economic Times (November 2020). She was also recognized as one of the Times Women of Substance (March 2021) and has been ranked among the Top 10 Cake Artists of India (2017 & 2018) by Cake Masters Magazine, India.

Prachi is regularly invited as a jury member at various national and international cake competitions worldwide, inspiring new talent and setting benchmarks for excellence in edible art.
