'One nation, one election' is once again in news. Recently, in this regard, the Centre has constituted a committee under the chairmanship of former President Ram Nath Kovind. This committee will examine both the legal and logistical aspects related to this issue.
The conflict that has been going on between the Kuki and Meitei communities in Manipur for several days may now come to an end. For this, the Manipur government has suggested giving more autonomy to the Autonomous District Councils. There is a possibility that the Parliament may give some nod to this. Here in India, the preparations for the G-20 are in full swing. The G-20 summit is going to be held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. UPI has recently achieved another new achievement. Now UPI QR-Code interoperability with Central Bank Digital Currency i.e. the CBDC application has been accepted.
