I finally got my hands on a good quality mek, so now it's time to tame the mighty Forest Titan! This makes the second Titan I've defeated and tamed. Now it's on to the last two - the Ice and King Titans!

This is a very different beast from the Desert Titan. Taming it can be done with a dreadnoughtus or a Mek, but I recommend a Mek because of the accuracy of the pistol and cannon shells. The dreadie has better damage with its vomit spit, but I can't aim that to save my life, much less hit a moving target.

Your goal is the same as with the Desert Titan - take out the corruption nodes on its body until it falls over, waiting to be claimed. Unlike the Desert, these nodes do not regen if left alone, but they will if the Titan wanders too far and is called back to the center.

I got lucky. The Forest Titan got stuck in the river, allowing me to shoot at the nodes in my Mek basically unchallenged. He did use his poison trees a couple of times, but it was nothing I couldn't deal with. Ordinarily, if he wasn't completely uninterested in fighting me, this would be much harder, requiring me to maintain distance and avoid his attacks.

Once tamed, the Forest Titan is a formidable beast. It's the tallest of the three tameable Titans, and has the highest base HP. It has a very nasty root grab that can do absolutely colossal damage. However, it's the slowest of the three. Nonetheless, it's a powerful creature and he will be a very solid asset against the King Titan.
