The 2025 A Beat Happening season kicked off with a collaborative showcase with our long time homies Thirsty City, a fellow monthly music showcase based in Portland. Celebrating a combined 18 years of monthly concerts featuring beatmakers, rap artists, avant garde electronic, and open-format genres all around Portland.

This lineup featured the first ever live performance (together as a duo) by both LA-based COOKBOOK (emcee) and Portland-based SUREBERT (beats) showcasing their PortLangeles albums, plus a stacked lineup of artists including MLTZR, RACHEL WONG, JULIMAR, and LUVJONEZ.

Hosted be the ABH team of Luvjonez and Free Tillman.
