 Stranger Things is coming to an end, and the twists and turns are getting crazier by the minute. Many don’t want the series to end, and the series’ creators, Matt and Ross Duffer, may have just the answer for fans wanting even more.  In an interview with ScreenRant's Liam Crowley, Matt and Ross Duffer spoke about the newly released Volume 2 of season 5 and Stranger Things’ final season. The creators were asked about an unconfirmed spinoff, which could potentially be in the works, as well as getting unanswered questions resolved during the final few episodes.  Stranger Things began in 2016 on Netflix, and turned into a juggernaut of entertainment with worldwide live events, a Broadway play titled Stranger Things: The First Shadow, and the series has generated over $1.4 billion for the U.S. GDP.  During Volume 1, Holly Wheeler (played by Nell Fisher) and Max Mayfield (played by Sadie Sink) were trapped in Vecna’s (Jamie Campbell Bower) mindscape, or what Holly referred to as Camazotz.  The Upside Down was revealed to be a wormhole of sorts, connecting Hawkins and the real world to the planetary dimension known as The Abyss, and while things are looking bleak for Hawkins, it won’t be long before Indiana's youngest heroes will try to put a stop to Vecna. Now, with Vecna’s true intentions are revealed, it’s up to all the characters to unite and stop him from merging the world with the Abyss.   It was revealed that a Stranger Things spinoff focused on Nancy Wheeler (Natalia Dyer) was in the works, but Matt Duffer’s indication that this as-yet-unconfirmed spinoff could be introducing a new location and new characters will add a new dimension to speculation and could introduce even more chaos and mayhem into the world of Stranger Things.
