From the border of the Mara river we witnessed the cruel killing of a crossing zebra by a crocodile. The zebra became meal for crocodiles. The rare and strange event that took place shortly afterwards, was that a hippo (herbivore/vegetarian) joined the feast and started eating meat (!).
