THe LYONZ are a Montreal based music group and creative outlet associated with hip-hop and electronic genres. They have been releasing music since early 2015, earning them spots at venues across Canada, and recently on international stages, such as the 2021 Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland. Their musical style is a big mix of genres from which the duo pulls inspiration. Atmospheric synth layers swarm retro Hip-Hop grooves that sometimes fall into the structure of a dance track. Every song seems to come from a different place, but one of the duo’s biggest strengths is being able to keep a cohesive sound and feeling throughout their songs.
