Affiliate Marketing Hack #1:

What part of the product or service that you’re selling do you feel resistance about? Lead with that.

We live in a time of universal deceit. What you see on Instagram are the top 1% of that person's life. It's the highlights.

It's easy to compare yourself to what you see on social media.

"To be persuasive, we must be believable; to be believable, we must be credible; to be credible, we must be truthful."

One marketing technique you can use in your copywriting to be more relatable is "the damaging confession."

This is where you share the pain points you've experienced: the struggles, the failures, the doubts, the worries, the anxieties, the dark stuff.

Honestly, it's hard as fvck to be vulnerable and I recommend reading Brene Brown and constantly training yourself to think positive.

Combined with taking massive action and you'll become more comfortable sharing your story.

Affiliate Marketing Hack #2:

What changes in copywriting over time and what doesn't?

The long-lasting principles of copy are:

Emotion
Logic
Desire
Primal Instincts

The things that change are:
Delivery method
Mediums
Markets


Copywriting is the best skill you can possess as a marketer because everything you do involves copy:

writing emails
social media posts
landing page copy
sales pages
ads
youtube descriptions
blog posts

When you master writing copy, you possess the skills and flexibility to sell a lot of different things.

Affiliate Marketing Hack #3:

You need to define the 5 most important messages that you need to hammer home to your pocket of people.

Then you create content that reinforces those core messages.

This was a big 'aha' for me at the event. It simplifies your content marketing around a few main points.

It's called "Drum Theory" because you're beating the drum over and over again.

In the video, I give two examples of drum theory. — one for the affiliate marketing niche and one for the fitness niche.
