On 28 March 2023, the fourth and final shunting for the southern Salzbachtal bridge of the A66 in Wiesbaden took place. Originally, the bridge was scheduled to be built at the end of April. But the pace of construction is currently ahead of schedule. The team is working shoulder to shoulder to ensure safe and economical completion so that the southern bridge is available to traffic on schedule at the end of December with two narrowed lanes in the direction of Frankfurt and Rüdesheim.

"We are working here as a team on an equal footing. The cooperation with Autobahn GmbH as the client and our ARGE partner Plauen Stahl Technologie GmbH works smoothly hand in hand - that's fun and the result shows that we are shoulder to shoulder and passionate about the job," says Markus Jahn, project manager.
The more complex and larger a construction project, the higher the risk of accidents on the construction site. The Salzbachtal Bridge project shows that this thesis does not have to be true: 426 days the construction site was accident-free at the time the bridge was built - even without a cut.
