Amazing Salmon Fishing in BC - Multiple Pinks and a few Chum landed!

Hey folks,

Here's one of my best fishing experiences overall - salmon fishing in BC, in the Kitimat river! This was in early August 2024 when the Pink salmon were running, as were Chums.

"Kitimat" in the Tsimshian language refers to the Haisla First Nation as the "People of the Snow".

We stayed over with friends and fished with them for 4 days, and had an absolute blast.

Gear:
8ft medium spinning rod with Daiwa 3000 reel and Little Cleo spoons
6wt single hand fly rod with WF floating line, split shot on leader, using mainly pink flies (clouser, bunny leech, starlight leech)
