Making all natural Chamomile infused cold process soap & colouring it orange with natural Annatto

Описание к видео Making all natural Chamomile infused cold process soap & colouring it orange with natural Annatto

Today we are using Chamomile infused Olive oil to create a very mild, delicate soap.

Whether or not the benefits of herbal flowers and extracts survives the saponification process is a subject that divides opinion, however based on our own experiences and customer feedback we feel that some of the properties of the herbs do indeed make it into the final soap bars. We have left the soap unscented, but if we were to add a scent we would use either Lemon Tea tree or a citrus blend as that would really suit the theme of this soap.

I am also attempting to create a line pour design in this soap. This is a technique that I haven't used very much and so I am definitely in need of more practice, as the final bars are definitely not perfect!

Follow our cold process recipe and tutorial for details on how you can make this at home!

Our soaps are all palm oil free and this one is vegan friendly too.

The ingredients we used for this soap are as follows:
Water 220g
Sodium Hydroxide (Lye) 109g
Chamomile infused Olive Oil 340g
Coconut Oil 184g
Shea Butter 75g
Cocoa Butter 38g
Castor Oil 57g
Sweet Almond Oil 99g
Annatto to colour to your personal taste (we used about 30 drops in the end!)
