AutoCAD Civil 3D 2017 - River and Flood Analysis (overview)

River and Flood Analysis module enables to carry out HEC-RAS analysis directly in AutoCAD Civil 3D environment. You can use various automated tools to create cross sections, and because Civil 3D has GIS capabilities you can make compelling presentations about you analysis results (floodplain map on top of satellite image etc.). In this video we start from scratch, using base data (surface model) from InfraWorks 360, we show some data manipulation tools before we start with actual river flood analysis. Finally we take a quick overview, how to get your project from AutoCAD Civil 3D into HEC-RAS standalone product.
