Cultural Genocide ~ The United States Government enters into a treaty with the entire Sioux Nation in 1851 and 1868: The Fort Laramie Treaty. This treaty sceeded much of our ancestor's territory over to the United States, but protected the entire Black Hills Region "for the sole use of the Lakota Nation." However, this treaty was violated when General Custer and his army illegally invaded and seized the land in the name of the United States after they discovered gold in the Black Hills.

An agreement between our two nations that was enacted to "forever end all warring between us," the Fort Laramie Treaty was violated by only the United States government when our ancestors were forcibly removed from the Black Hills and placed onto reservations (in other words,POW camps) by the United States army. The Lakota Nation did not violate this treaty, and thus, it is our responsibility to hold the United States government and any of its citizens accountable for their illegal occupation of our land. We have the right to freely roam this land and we must stand up together in defense of our humanity and our sacred sites.

This video is an example of the perception of the ones who illegally invaded and are now exploiting our sacred sites, towards the assertion of our right to enter their unlawful establishment upon our own land free of charge. This is the Cosmos Mystery Area "Attraction"... a site which is known for its unusual gravitational energy. It was surely sacred to our ancestors, but now is being exploited for material gain without our permission as Lakota people, and without the exploiters paying any rent, or honoring our inherent right to the land and even the business. We (Lakotas) were of course denied entrance without charge, as this young man "did not have the authority to let us in." See how backwards everything has become? It is time for us to assert ourselves, hold our heads high as One, and demand that we be honored and respected, as this is our land according to every applicable treaty law... and it is our responsibility to protect it and ourselves from exploitation~ All we have to do is arm ourselves with a legal and binding document: The Fort Laramie Treaties, and use them to educate ourselves and others of our inhernet birth right to this land.
