What is Ken-Betwa river link project that will bring reprieve to people in water-starved Bundelkhand

PM Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of the Ken-Betwa river linking project in Khajurao Wednesday. India’s first river interlinking project will connect the Ken River in Madhya Pradesh with the Betwa in Uttar Pradesh and is expected to provide enormous benefits to the water-starved Bundelkhand region that spans both states. Ten districts in the two states will benefit from the project.
