I found the first part of Psalm 127 interesting. The idea is that the work we do is all in vain if the God of the universe is not a part of it. We weren't created to live on the beach, binge-watch Netflix, and kick back all the time. We aren't really fulfilled that way. We were made to serve. It's life-giving, but we need God for that work. If we do things with anxiety or pressure, we aren't making it about God. This verse helps me sort out what the real work is that I have to do. I don't have all the answers, but it's okay. I don't need to have it all figured out because God does. How do you feel about doing work from a place of rest and trust in God, the one who can do all things?
