This killer gaming PC build for less than $350 will smash games such as Dirt 3, CS:GO, World of Warcraft and League of Legends at High settings at 1080p! It is also capable of playing AA titles such as GTA V, Overwatch and the Witcher 3! The CPU powering this build is an APU and combines a CPU and GPU into one! The AMD A10 7870K is AMD's highest end APU chip, with the GPU portion coming clocked at 800Mhz. The APU contains a super fast 3.9GHz CPU, maintaining compatibility with all of the latest releases! When using an APU it important to use fast RAM, hence I chose 2 x 4GB sticks of Crucial Ballistix Elite RAM - coming clocked at a snappy DDR3 2133Mhz! It is also important to utilise dual channel memory for increased performance - this gives the APU twice the bandwidth - resulting in even better gaming performance! For the motherboard I opted for the ASUS A68HM-Plus. Not only does this support a GPU, something like a GTX 1050, GTX 1050Ti, RX 460, RX 470 or RX 480 would be ideal! It comes in a Micro ATX form factor, with support for multiple drives! It also features USB 3.0 and the FM2+ socket needed for the A10-7870K chip in this build! For RAM the super fast 2133Mhz speed of Crucial's Ballistix Elite not only looks great but is a great pairing for the APU. I've also opted for it in a 2 x 4Gb configuration - giving the APU twice the bandwidth of one stick - ideal for performance. For storage a 1TB hard drive, the WD Blue 1TB is a great choice, it comes in at a 7200RPM speed, nice and fast for a hard drive. It isn't quite SSD speeds, but that is another great upgrade later on! To house this system is Thermaltake's versa H22 case - it features USB 3.0 and USB 2.0, an ATX form factor and large side panel window! And to wrap up the build a 500W 80+ EVGA PSU!
