Tripura Forestry Environmental Improvement and Poverty Alleviation Project (TFIPAP) popularly known as Tripura JICA Project is being implemented in 7 districts of Tripura with assistance from Japan International Co-operation Agency (JICA). The aims and objectives of the project include restoration of degraded forests and providing the sustainable livelihoods of forest dependent communities through Joint Forest Management (JFM).
