India post has initiated a great service which has enabled the customers to download Postal Life Insurance Income Tax Certificate Online. This has reduced the stress of reaching out to Head Post Office and Waiting in a Queue. This video displays how simple and easy to download Income Tax Certificate from Postal Life Insurance Official Website.

Currently, this facility is only available to already registered customers. It is not possible right now to register online, customer have to visit nearest Head Office with relevant documents and a request letter for availing the facility, an online account from the Postal Life Insurance website.

Once, the request accepted, customer can click on Generate Customer ID on the website customer portal page by entering the relevant details related to the scheme availed from Postal Life Insurance. This facility is available to all Urban and Rural Postal Life Insurance Customers.

Note: Please obtain copy of your request letter duly signed by the concerned authority confirming they received your request for opening an online account at Postal Life Insurance website. Kindly check your status by visiting the customer portal and clicking on generate customer ID, after entering the details, click on submit, if it generates customer ID, your request has been successfully completed, It takes usually 15 to 30 working days to complete the process
