NMBDR - New Mexico Backroad Discovery Route

Shipping delays = bike stuck in Las Vegas = no NEBDR/MABDR = last minute recalibration to take on a southwestern BDR tour.

Having completed the UTBDR and COBDR in years prior, we were left with New Mexico and Arizona to round out the 4 corners BDR's, and despite my loathing of Nevada... perhaps Nevada too.

We rented a van, threw my bike in the back, and departed Seattle towards Vegas to liberate my friend's bike from a shipping warehouse. We continued on towards Durango, rolled the bikes out, and undertook the NMBDR, north to south, sections 7, 5, 4, 3, and 2.

To make time on our ambitious undertaking, and to minimize risk, we generally chose the "easier alternate" as available, and also bypassed a couple of sections known for endless deep sand (Section 6 and part of Section 2), since for us deep sand didn't exactly seem like a fun way to spend endless hours.

PS... If anyone has any tips on YouTube not compressing our videos to sh!t I'd appreciate it... this was filmed on a GoPro 8 at 4k/60fps and exported from imovie at 1080p60... and it looks garbage compared to the original file. So frustrating. :(
