I've been getting a pretty large amount of requests to do Shovel Knight songs for quite a while. I was wanting to go with a different song to start off with, but since the overwhelming majority of you wanted to hear Strike the Earth!, I figured eh, why not?

Strike the Earth! (Plains of Passage) is just one of several great songs from the Shovel Knight soundtrack by Jake Kaufman (support him! https://virt.bandcamp.com/), which has some of the most amazingly composed modern chiptune music around. The game is pretty awesome too! So go play it, if you haven't.
