SF Salmon, ID (Secesh Confluence to Vinegar Creek) @ 3.3 ft

Описание к видео SF Salmon, ID (Secesh Confluence to Vinegar Creek) @ 3.3 ft

This video should really be called "you'll get what you're given" because that's pretty much what came of this. There are about 30 seconds of footage that did not render properly. After hours of editing, I spent a few weeks intermittently troubleshooting GoPro Quik export failures.....looks like I found the processing limit of my phone 😂. I really enjoy making these videos. It lets me relive the moments, of course. It also allows me to breakdown the beta of a run and analyze my paddling.

The trip was incredible. We caught a great window for our crew's skill level with perfect weather. We didn't have any carnage. I would rate the trip as a class IV+ overnighter in a kayak. Guidebooks will tell you otherwise. I think those ratings apply much more to rafters. The rapids are very much class IV in a kayak at these flows and there's no portaging to do. #3 of Falls Creek is probably the stoutest drop. We're planning to come back next year and catch the flows a little higher to be able to run the EF into the SF. Judd Lehman, Aaron Nauth, Bobby West, Jim Owczarzak, Daniel Scott, Ian Manning were in attendance.
