E46 BMW M Steering Wheel w/ SMG Paddle Shifter

Using M3 Steering Wheel w/ SMG paddles dramatically changes driving experience! All levels of car modifiers will enjoy.

Install on : 2001 BMW 325i RWD Steptronic (Automatic)

Step-by-step (DIY) Install wire harness retrofit kit.
Disconnect battery and allow to discharge for a few minutes.
Remove Shift Knob,Center Console Trim, Center console Ashtray, Utility, & Storage.
Remove trim underneath steering column. This will allow access to rear of column switch ring.
Feed wire harness towards steering wheel on the upper left side.
Connect to the back of column switch ring.
Connect other end of wire harness to steptronic connections (watch video).
Reinstall everything and connect battery again.

Enjoy new paddles on your steptronic vehicle.

Activate by moving shift knob to M/S (-/+).
Deactivate by moving shift knob back to D.

Computer will automatically stay in appropriate gear when the car is moving, and gear selector is moved to M/S mode.
