Jeep Cherokee XJ Throttle Body, IAC, TPS & MAP Cleaning & Replacement

Описание к видео Jeep Cherokee XJ Throttle Body, IAC, TPS & MAP Cleaning & Replacement

Complete step-by-step instructions to remove and clean the throttle body on a 2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ. I also remove the Idle Air Control (IAC), Throttle Position Sensor (TPS), and Manifold Air Pressure sensor (MAP).
I did this job because I had a low and rough idle and the factory service manual recommended this as the 1st thing to do. Unfortunately, it didn't help much. In a future video I'll explore the next steps to fix the idle.

Torque Settings:
10mm bolts: 100 inch/lbs.
IAC: 60 inch/lbs. TPS: 60 inch/lbs. MAP: 25 inch/lbs.

Felpro Gasket 60948
IAC: Standard AC176
MAP: Standard AS88
Dorman rubber fitting kit: 47431
(I don't advise that you use this. Get a pre-fit custom made tubing specifically for you Jeep instead).

**At 3:34 if you look closely the 90 deg angle rubber fitting from MAP to the throttle body isn’t flush with the throttle body. This was an error in my video editing. I was recording various trials as I was cutting the tubing, and this was actually not the one that I used. The tubing should sit flush up to the throttle body without any gap.
FYI- first put the tube on the MAP and then insert the MAP with the tube into the throttle body.
