Understanding Conformance Levels in WCAG 2.1 for Web Accessibility

In this video, we'll explore the three levels of conformance defined by WCAG 2.1 and the success criteria that websites and web applications must meet to be considered conformant at each level.

Level A is the lowest level of conformance and includes basic accessibility requirements such as alternative text for images and keyboard navigation. Level AA includes all of the success criteria in Level A, as well as more advanced requirements like color contrast and captions for audio and video content. Level AAA includes all of the success criteria in Levels A and AA, as well as the most advanced requirements like sign language interpretation and high zoom readability.

However, meeting all the success criteria at any level does not guarantee complete accessibility for all users with disabilities.
