Porsche 911 996 and Boxster 986 Oil Pressure Release Valve Upgraded With 997 Parts

Описание к видео Porsche 911 996 and Boxster 986 Oil Pressure Release Valve Upgraded With 997 Parts

We update the oil pressure release valve on our Porsche Boxster 986. The 997 part has better low rpm oil flow and may help engine noises on startup. Torque specs are in video.

It is a very easy and low cost upgrade and you get better low RPM oil pressure. The new piston also has a bevel on its upper edge and the spring is slightly longer.

Pressure results from a Facebook group member: Before 1-1.2 bar, after 1.5-1.8 bar. Hopefully that helps.
