Hey, ever heard of the Palace of Versailles? It's like something out of a fairy tale! King Louis XIV of France ordered it to be built, and it used to be where he and other royals lived. It's not too far from Paris, about 12 miles away in a place called Versailles.

Nowadays, the French government owns it, and they take really good care of it. Since 1995, it's been looked after by the French Ministry of Culture. And get this: every year, a whopping 15 million people visit the palace, its gardens, and the park! It's one of the hottest spots for tourists around the globe.
