9.3 is Finally Saved But... - Oct 2024 BR Changes

Alright ladies and gentlemen, the new battle rating decompression has been now implemented into the game.

So let’s get a quick look over everything you should know about these changes and what BRs are the winner or losers of this new change.

A few weeks ago I made a video about why 8.3 is the worst BR in ground battles right now, thanks to you guys the video performed really well.

I don’t really know if gaijin actually heard us or not, but apparently snail’s undercover agents are actively watching our channel.

Alright got some news for 8.0 and 8.3 players, Two of your BR’s biggest apex predators have been moved to 9.3, OF-40 MTCA and TAM 2IP,

but rest assured some of the most broken vehicles still exist in this br specifically under the chinese tree.

From 8.3 to 9.0 they are literally the best tanks in that BR range.
But overall the matchmaking is feeling better, there are less up-tiers and you are more or less competing against the same vehicles.

Great news for 9.3, after two solid years this BR is finally playable, a lot of the 9.7 tanks are now 10.0, most of the premium tanks are now 10.3.

So you should be facing a lot more vehicles inside your BR bracket and less up-tiers.

Unfortunately 10.3 is now 10.7 and I got bad news for you, on the surface it seems like a good decision, move all 10.3 tanks to 10.7 so they wouldn’t get downtiered to 9.3.

A lot of the improvement in 9.3 I was talking about is actually because of this change.

But the problem for these exact line ups still persists, you are now 10.7 with a high chance of 11.3 uptiers.

All the previous line ups we talked about like Japanese 11.0 that used to literally club the shit out of 10.3 vehicles, are now essentially in the same BR bracket as you.

So you need get to used to fighting against American and Japanese 11.3 line ups, still looks much better on paper, and for now it works kind of better I guess.

But I would assume it’s gonna get worse, because right now A lot of 11.7 vehicles we are talking about are already inside the top tier line ups of the players.

And sooner or later some sweaty mfs gonna start making 11.7 line ups and it’s probably gonna increase the chance of down-tiers for those BRs.

So overall I think 9.3 is definitely the biggest winner of this update, as it should be, it’s one of most fun and popular battle-rating for both premium tanks and free players.

And it has been plagued by the swarms of 10.0 premiums for a long time.

Honestly it about time gaijin.
