At 01:55am on the morning of 22nd October 1987, Strabane town suffered a flood that would leave homes and businesses destroyed. This is a short video taken by Aidan McKelvey at the time with interviews with local people and businesses affected along with video of those being rescued.

The Strabane History Society would like to thank Aidan McKelvey for use of the video.
