Diana Seitz performs Kreutzer Etude no. 11 for Violin in fast and slow tempo.

Legato stroke
In the slow practice tempo, you can hear Diana’s deliberate glissandi during the shifts: those are very Important to the basic shifting technique, that requires left arm to glide Into the new position while the old position finger is still on the string. Once the arm and the old finger reach new position, the new finger is placed.
