The University of Southern California will remove an exhibit to legendary actor and school alum John Wayne because he said a bunch of racist stuff in a 1971 interview.

In recent weeks, students have protested the John Wayne Exhibit at the university’s School of Cinematic Arts, just as they did in October 2019, and USC is now taking action amid a nationwide reckoning on racism.

The items that make up the exhibit will be moved to a library, according to a statement from USC.
