How to Replace Rear Outer Bushing Polaris RZR 800

How to change the rear outer bushing on your Polaris RZR 800 MADE EASY. See tips, tools, time, and of course step by step how to replace the rear bushings on your RZR. Rear bushings are known to go bad on these RZR's and replacing the bushings yourself is a great way to keep your machine riding great and save some cash in the process. The rear outer bushing job isn't terribly difficult and can easily be done in an afternoon.

I chose to go with Super Dave's Super Tough Bushing Kit for this bike. From everything I've read on the topic these seem to be some of the better bushings around for these bikes, let me know in comments if you have any experience or suggestions with these or any other bushing kits. Definitely need to grease bushings, I used WD-40 White Lithium Grease because it comes in handy for all sorts of other projects and squeaks around the house.

Also will need a fairly heavy rubber mallet that won't damage the parts, I've been using this 4 pd'er off Amazon for a couple years and find it comes in handy.

And something to clean out the surface for the bushings to seat properly. Parts cleaner and shop towels work great, here's a link, but they can be purchased cheaper at your local walmart.

And of course a good set of hand tools with two 15mm Deep sockets and ratchets, as well as a flat head screw driver, and a good set of pliers. All of mine are from harbor freight because they are cheap and are still holding up after several years.
