Instructions on how to tidy headphone cables:

This is a very simple technique which involves wrapping the cable around two fingers in a figure of eight pattern.

Assuming that you are right-handed, use your right hand to wrap the cable around two fingers of your left hand.

Open your left hand. Bend your 2 middle fingers into your hand to leave your index finger and your little finger exposed.

Wrap the cable around your index finger and your little finger in a figure of 8 pattern. Leave around 10-12 inches (25-30cm) of cable unwrapped.

Remove the cable from your left hand and wrap it with the remaining loose cable. Keep back a short length of cable to tuck the plug through the loop at one end of the bound cable.

When you are ready to use the headphones, untuck the plug and gently pull both ends. The cable will unwind without any tangles.
