Visit to the Crich Tramway Village, Matlock, UK.

The tramway village at Crich is part tram museum part village. I managed to spend 4 hours here wandering through the musuem part and then the village (with trams passing through it of course).
I visited during the second year of Covid so some trams were not accessible but overall it allows visitors to go inside the trams and generally go back in time.

The indoor exhibits are superb and heaven to tram/transport fans. The site has trams running through several stops (walkable for the average person) on the sausage shaped site.

My only critisim of the attraction is the trams were too infrequesnt for the numbers of visitors. I did not really fancy being confined to a cramped tram during Covid. The impression I had is that the capacity for trams for a lot higher than the number running when I visited (on a week day during the summer hoilidays).

Overall however, a beautiful collection of historic trams, a nice museum and a fun day out for kids (there is more to the place than just trams).
