Russian forces launched a massive strike on Ukraine Saturday, targeting military-industrial complexes, energy facilities, and ports, in response to Ukrainian attacks on Russian civilian infrastructure. Moscow said long-range precision weapons, including Kinzhal hypersonic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles, struck 152 strategic sites. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed multiple regions were hit, including Dnipropetrovsk and Chernihiv, reporting civilian injuries. Over 650 drones and 51 missiles were deployed, while Ukrainian forces repelled assaults in key areas such as Slobozhanske, Kupiansk, and Pokrovsk, neutralizing hundreds of drones and destroying Russian military vehicles.
