Headers & Footers
1- The minimum header/footer allowed on KDP is 0.35". Anything less and the KDP Previewer will tell you it's out of print range.
2- Insert Next Page section breaks on the page before each new chapter to that you can use "Different First Page" on the first page of each chapter so the headers/footers won't appear on these pages.
3- Using "Different Odd & Even Pages" allows you to type your Book Title on the Odd pages (right) and Author Name on the Even pages (left).
4- Don't put headers/footers in the Front Matter. Make the Front Matter its own section so it doesn't mess up the rest of your headers/footers.
5- Prologues should be in their own section and should have headers/footers, except on the first page. Also, I use Roman Numerals instead of regular numbers in the footers.
6- Headers/Footers should continue into the Back Matter, except for the "Coming Soon" page.
